It may not appear so when you hit “post comment” under a post, but anonymous comments are permitted. Just ignore the request for name and email address.
A little anonymity is a good thing. There’s too many bots and alphabetically acronym-ed agencies and foreign hackers crawling through the net for us all to be posting all our information everywhere and anywhere. Besides, when the subject is sensitive sometimes people are more willing to talk if they are anonymous.
However, administrator review of all comments is on. If you want your comment approved, remember the admonition of your mother: if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.
That doesn’t mean you have to agree. But you have to keep it clean, decent, and respectful.
And please don’t try to sell us stuff. I promise we don’t want it.
